About our School
Headteacher: Mr Andrew Krlic
Chair of Governors: Mr Hugh Connor
St Peter's School is a Catholic Voluntary Aided Primary School for boys and girls.
St Peter's is a Catholic school, which is committed to continually striving for excellence. We do so because we recognise that each child is a unique creation, made in the image of God for a divine purpose and an eternal destiny.
Striving for Excellence
Growing in Faith
St Peter's School recognises that Gospel values and the teachings of Christ are central to the life of the school.
Teachers, parents and Governors share a common purpose in the task of educating all our children, developing within them understanding, justice, tolerance and sensitivity to the needs of others, thus enabling them to take their role as contributing members of society.
Each child is entitled to be given the opportunity to develop his / her talents to the full.
The whole school community will fully support the spiritual, intellectual, physical, social, cultural, emotional and moral development of all its pupils.
To achieve these aims the school is organised as a community -
where God is experienced in reality;where the truths of the Catholic faith and principles of morality are taught and valued;where the faith is celebrated in the liturgy; and where the Gospel is translated into daily life action.Where each person is respected and valued as unique in the image of God.
