Special Educational Needs & Disabilities
Following Christ, Striving for Excellence, Working Together & Growing in Faith
St Peter’s is an inclusive school with equal opportunities for all pupils. We believe every child has the right to access the curriculum and reach their maximum potential. We aim to meet all children’s specific needs by having a nurturing and inclusive learning environment to teach a varied and balanced curriculum. We understand the important role of the pupil, parent and school in meeting children’s needs and work in unison to ensure the happiness and progress of all children. Our SEND Information Report and Policy outline in detail the procedures and strategies we use in school to ensure the needs of all children are met.

What is a local offer?
The local offer provides information on what services children, young people and their families can expect from a range of local agencies, including education, health and social care. Knowing what is out there gives you more choice and therefore more control over what support is right for your child.
If you would like any more information, please do not hesitate to contact: Mrs Greaves (Special Educational Needs Co-Ordinator)
